This is a ticket only event. Tickets must be purchased online in advance.
There are a limited number of tickets available for each night.
Tickets for Hallowscream 2024 will be available in the spring!
Please note that Hallowscream is now a 16+ event. Anyone aged under 16yrs will not be admitted even if accompanied by an adult. This is a change from the previous 14+ age restriction and reflects the more adult nature of the event. Proof of age will be required for anyone who appears under 21, please bring valid photo ID (see FAQs). If you don't have age ID with you, admission will be refused.
Based on previous years it is likely that tickets, particularly for the popular nights and time slots will sell out well in advance. Don't leave it too late to get the date and Intake Period you want!
Please Note ticket prices vary on different days and may change depending on demand. Generally cheaper tickets are available the earlier you book. Prices and latest availability for each date can be found when you click to book tickets. Once booked your price is fixed and will not change.
There is a £2.00 per person online booking fee which will be added to your basket on checkout.
Hallowscream Ticket
Standard Hallowscream tickets are sold with an allocated “Intake Period”. This is the time your ticket allows entry to the site. The Intake Periods are: 6.30pm-7.00pm. 7.00pm-7.30pm. 7.30pm-8.00pm. 8.00pm-last admission 9.00pm. YOU MAY NOT ENTER THE EVENT BEFORE THE START OF YOUR INTAKE PERIOD. Please make sure you arrive before your Intake Period closes. . We reserve the right to refuse admission if you arrive after your allocated 30min Intake Period ends. Once on site you may stay as long as you wish until closing.
Our entry level Hallowscream ticket now includes UNLIMITED ENTRY TO THE SCARE HOUSES, park entry, street theatre, music, stage shows, a banging halloween party atmosphere, food court, two bars and free car parking. Fairground rides charged extra.
Hallowscream + 5 Fast Track Ticket
Why not skip the queues with a Fast Track Ticket. As with the Standard Hallowscream Ticket this ticket allows Unlimited entry to the scare houses PLUS 5 SINGLE FAST TRACK entry passes AND FLEXIBLE ARRIVAL TIME. Also includes street theatre, music, stage shows, a banging halloween party atmosphere, food court, two bars and free car parking. Fairground rides charged extra. You need to book a date but there is no arrival timeslot with Fast Track Tickets so you can arrive at any time from opening at 6.30pm to last admission at 9pm.
HALLOWSCREAM + UNLIMITED FAST TRACK & RIDES
Includes UNLIMITED FAST TRACK entry to all the scare houses PLUS UNLIMITED FAIRGROUND RIDES! Also includes street theatre, music, stage shows, food court, two bars and free car parking. You need to book a date but there is no arrival timeslot with Fast Track Tickets so you can arrive at any time from opening at 6.30pm to last admission 9pm.
HALLOWSCREAM + MEGA PASS
It’s all here: UNLIMITED FAST TRACK entry, UNLIMITED RIDES ... PLUS: 5 drink tokens (any single alcoholic, soft drink or hot drink excluding cocktails), Hallowscream T-Shirt, digital photo, Halloween makeover, park entry, street theatre, live music, food courts and free car parking. You need to book a date but there is no arrival timeslot with a Mega Pass so you can arrive at any time from opening at 6.30pm to last admission 9pm.
SOLD OUT Ticket Returns & Scams
Hallowscream nights often sell out. Tickets are not available to purchase on the gate or over the phone. Any tickets that are available will be shown on the ticketing website here - Hallowscream Tickets. We are aware of a number of instances of scammers trying to sell Hallowscream tickets they do not have. We do not recommend buying tickets from anyone other than ourselves through this website.
Group Bookings
If your group booking is arriving by coach it's important to note that coaches are not able to enter the York Maze Hallowscream site and need to drop off at the Bus stop on the road. If you are arriving by coach please contact us, or ask the coach company to contact us to discuss drop off and pick up arrangements.
Opening Times
Hallowscream evenings open at 6.30pm each night. Standard Hallowscream ticket holders, please make sure you arrive within the 30min slot for your Intake Period. Last entry to Hallowscream is at 9.00pm. Once on site you may stay as long as you wish. The queue lines for the Scare Houses will close at 10.30pm. Rides and food outlets close at 11pm, the bar closes at 11.30pm.
